The mountains are a beautiful spot for a get-away and provide a serene peaceful ride up and down the mountain hillsides. The beach trails offer a very different sort of riding, since the sand has a nasty habit of slowing your progress, but the views of the ocean from the cliffs are too much to pass up. Stay out of the salty ocean if you can, however as the sea water tends to wash away any lubrication you may have had and the sand will finish the job off. Be sure to wash your bike well after a trip beachside, even if you don't get wet.
