Designed in ultra lightweight silicone coated Mini Ripstop nylon, the new Arc'teryx Axios 50 Backpack - Men's is dialed for those trekking or multi-day enthusiasts who are passionate about weight-saving. During a traverse of the Stuart Range or a light and fast WestCoast Trail out and back, this lightweight pack combines EV50 Perforated foam, 6061 aluminum stays and HDPE framesheet with a GridLock suspension that features anatomically shaped shoulder straps, a modular sternum strap, breathable shoulder straps and hipbelt, and adjustable shoulder straps for a highly breathable for ultra-comfortable gear carrying. Four compression straps stabilize the load, while a removable/ extendable top lid with two zippered compartments, stretch-mesh stash pockets on the hipbelt, a map pocket, kangaroo pocket with top compression strap, and two stretch-mesh pockets stow easy to reach essentials.

Comfortable
This bag is very comfortable carrying,and the color is very bright,it is also light. It makes me very conspicuous in the crowd?My friends praise it suits me very much,I'm so happy.

Great Weekender
This pack is amazing for its price. Compared to any other Arc'teryx Piece, this thing is a steal. It has all of the essentials a pack should have. Its really up to you whether or not the size is right. I personally wanted something for longer trips, so I went wit the Altra 65. But to be honest, the 65 Liter pack is almost twice the price of the Axios 50. So, if you're looking for either an ultralight pack with minimum space, or a long haul day hike its perfect. All in all, I love Arc'teryx Packs. And I can honestly say you will too. PS If you're wondering what reservoirs/bladders work with this, I know for sure that the Platypus 2L works, but NOT the 3L. I looked up the dimensions for the MSR bladders and I'm pretty sure both the 2L and 3L will work. But just to be safe, I would double-check that.

Awesome pack
I have used this pack for overnight trip in my trip during 20F condition. I was able to pack every essentials- sleeping bag, sleeping pad, warm clothes, dslr, camelbak, food, snowshoes, etc- comfortably and there was room left over for tent, more food, or clothes. The build quality is top of the notch just as what you would expect from alcT products. I am a big alcT fan and this pack definitely did not disappoint me. This pack may be small for those who are going on 3+ day trip with big tents, non-compressed sleeping bag, and non-essentials but for those who can bring only essentials and pack light, this is the pack for you!!
