The fabric looks like wool but it's easier to launder and doesn't have the permanent stretch concerns. Beneath the sleeves are underarm gussets so you can extend your reach above your head without feeling exposed down along the hem. The Arcteryx Covert Hoody is functional outerwear for hiking, running and camping in cool weather.

The best Hoody I have ever bought!
This hoody is just as good as it looks. I've worn it during skiing it as a second layer under a shell, late summer during long walks in the evening and down town as a casual great looking sweater. It's the best, and I looks just like new even after several times in the washing machine!

warm,but not great in the wind
I like this hoody as a warm sweater, but don't expect a lot of wind-resistance from it, as it was not made for this.

no regrets what so ever
Great product! Comfortable, breathable, light, all the important features that a hiker cares most about. I worn it to Tibet recently, I was glad to I had with me in the morning and night.
