Great jacket!!
Weight - Arc'teryx hardshell always satisfied me. Compare with LT jackets, naturally it's more heavy but It's AR jacket!! One thumb up! Design & color - Unique design! Sidewinder Zipper design really satisfied me. i got candy apple red, i love the color too!! Two thumb up!! Activities - Great at winter mountain trekking. Windproof..Waterproof..but not heavy also not too warm. Good for skiing too!! But if the weather is cold, you should prepare other insulate jacket. This jacket isnot warmth jacket!! This is Hardshell..so don't blame this jacket for the warmth. I love sidewinder..although Lt jacket is better to climbing mountains, but this jacket is good at wintersports!!

Keeps out the elements
Bombproof jacket. i have had just it and my base layer on in -30 winds snowshoeing in Montana. Ive used it in downpours in the midwest too. keeps me dry, warm and free of the elements. If i get too hot the pit vents do the trick. I wear my sidewinder backcountry snowboarding and I am amazed how comfortable I stay. tough too, ive caught multiple tree limbs and snags on tight runs and some how it hasn't ripped. Im 5'11" and 152lbs, got the medium and it fits perfect, tight enough for technical movements but has the room to layer a base, mid layer and fit a down sweater from Patagonia while still allowing comfortable movement. with its construction, I might die before this jacket wears out!
