Great Layering Piece
This jacket is super light and really warm. It's more fitted and less puffy than it looks in pictures. I got the small (5'6" 115 lbs) and it fits close with not much room for any bulky layers underneath. I have long arms and the sleeves are perfect and the cut is not too short--hits me a few inches below my hip bones. I'm a huge fan of Arcteryx and I can't wait to use this jacket this fall and winter.
i bought three of this gear for my friends. the product is really a great gear. It is so light but keep you warm. Also you can wear this in little rain.
Agree all great aspects, ran bit small for me
I agree with all of the wonderful things other reviewers have written about this jacket. I purchased it in Jacaranda blue, a gorgeous periwinkle with darker blue accents. It is so lightweight, packs down very small, but warm and overall terrific design. I also purchased the Rho AR top from Arcteryx in the same purchase/color to go with it and it's a great combo! I am just adding to the reviews as I am 5'5" About 130 and usually wear a size 8-10 on top which the sizing chart says is a medium which is what I usually order in most items for tops and jackets. However, I find this is a bit tight across the chest to the point I considered exchanging for a size large. I just checked the website and the chest measurement for the medium is 37 and I am a size 36B, thus if you have concerns re the fit across the chest, I would recommend sizing up. The large chest size is 40. They are out if large, this has side stretch panels and I plan to layer under a shell so decided to keep the medium but if they had the large, I would consider trying it. Just a note as I usually don't have this issue with items sized 8-10. Otherwise love everything about this jacket!
