Built with WINDSTOPPER a micro fleece backer, the wind doesn't have a chance, but the Venta SV retains its breathability and has pit zips when extra ventilation is needed. When the temperatures drop, the Venta SV is a great hardshell alternative.

One of my favorites
The Venta SV jacket I bought a few years ago is still in an excellent condition. It is very stylish, flattering and durable. The brushed lining feels soft to the skin so you can wear it over a short sleeve or long sleeve with the greatest feel of comfort. The use of it is very versatile from hiking to travel or walking in the city as well. This jacket is one of my favorites. And I actually bought a black and a red one and I would highy recommend it if you are looking for a comfy, stretchy, versatile jacket of a high quality. I hope this helps.

The Perfect Jacket!
I was hesitant about purchasing the Venta SV jacket due to its priciness, but am so glad I did - it is a great all-around jacket for multi-purpose use, but the technical features, such as the seemingly lightweight fleece backing of this jacket, pack a powerful punch against the elements for cold-weather active use! It is extremely durable and has a very contoured and close fit which is good for minimizing drafts and providing optimal comfort.

Great shell!
ArcTeryx is made to last! Clearly a good quality coat. based on other reviews I'd seen I bought the large (I am usually a medium). Good feedback, this was the right choice. I can fit multiple thin layers & a fleece with some room to spare, but the medium would have been too tight on the shoulders. I'm 5'8" & about 135lbs. Love that the hood fits over my ski helmet for extra wind protection.
