Atlas Snowshoes 830 Snowshoes

The fresh air and squeaky-soft snow is calling, strap on the Atlas Snowshoes 830 Snowshoes and go for a quiet trek through the woods. Designed for flat terrain, and able to carry 150-250 pounds, these Atlas Snowshoes are made with lightweight aluminum V Frames and durable Nytex decking that keeps its flex even in the coldest conditions. The no-fuss Strapp Bindings secure your boot under webbing with one quick pull and the Free-Rotating Suspension lets your foot rotate further forward as you walk, keeping the tails from flipping snow up on your back. With no heel lifters, the Atlas 830 Snowshoes are best on flat terrain. They have crampons to help with traction and control.

  • Frame material: 6061 aluminum
  • Deck Material: Nytex nylon; abrasion-resistant, lightweight, stay flexible when cold and stand up to the elements
  • Crampon material: Tempered steel
  • Crampons: instep, heel, but no lateral crampons
  • Twin-Trac™ Toe Crampon
  • Heel Cleat
  • V Frame: tracks straight in deep snow, and the tapered tail pulls less snow as you step forward, saving your energy; the turned-up tail of the V-frame rolls easily into each step for a natural gait
  • Strapp™ Bindings: webbing design that tightens snugly with a quick pull and heel straps that secure feet
  • Free-Rotating™ Suspension: lets the binding rotate much further forward than previous Atlas designs, freeing up the stride and reducing the amount of tail flip
  • Recommended load: 150-250 pounds
  • Best use: snowshoeing on flat terrain
  • Surface area: 222 sq in
  • Length: 30 in
  • Weight: 4.26 lbs (per pair)
