Please do note, that Hard Hats with Brock soft foam do not meet the standards for action sport head protection. Of the Bern helmets, only those with EPS hard foam meet ASTM F 2040 and EN 1077B standards for snow and ski, and CPSC and EN 1078 standards for bike and skate. However Brock foam is designed to protect against multiple lower force impacts and may prevent concussions when hard foam helmets will not. Good if you know what you're getting
First off, for all those thinking of buying this, it is a hard hat and not a helmet. Brock foam is amazing stuff and can withstand multiple smaller impacts, but this won't save your life if you wrap yourself around a tree. I'd recommend this for park rats and beginners where high speed crashes aren't likely. For those that like to mob down the hill, get an EPS helmet. I've "tested" this hard hat out on a icy box and it works great. Still rung my bell a little, but probably saved me from a mild concussion. Super comfy, audio works great (although audio longevity is still in question)
