Bern Watts Summer EPS Helmet
Ready for a broiling afternoon in the skate park, a commute to work on your bike, or even a little on-snow action this winter in the half pipe, the Bern Watts Summer EPS Helmet will protect your head while you charge hard.
Bern's EPS helmets are made with an ultra thin ABS hard shell and lined with EPS hard foam. This winning combo is both lightweight, low profile and tough so it meets head safety standards for biking, skating, skiing and snowboarding without making you look like a bobbin' head dashboard mount. It's a 4-season helmet that is compatible with any of Bern's add-on liners, letting you wear it with a knit liner in the winter or open up the top vents in the summer.
The molded visor on the Bern Watts Helmet shades the sun and, we have to admit, adds extra sickness factor to its classic skate-helmet style.

Reviews - Bern Watts Summer EPS Helmet
Great Helmet. Prefer over Brentwood
I used to have the Bern Brentwood. Then i cracked it in an accident. So i thought I'd try out the Watts. They both have the same general shape and feel except the Watts is just a bit heavier, and the visor is permanently molded. However, I ride a road bike, so my stance makes me lean over quite a bit. With the Brentwood, sometimes I'd have to tilt my helmet up so I could see (the visor got in the way). But with the Watts, I don't have that problem.
I tried on several brands of helmets, and Bern was a clear choice. I wanted the combination of the visor with a quality liner, so I wouldn't need to wear a billed cap underneath. I have the large size, which is what I normally wear in a hat; the fit is appropriately snug yet comfortable. The liner allows for some adjusting as well. Although this is the men's version, my daughter preferred this helmet also. We are very pleased with this helmet!
Feels Good, Looks Good
I have been riding with my Bern Watts helmet (summer) for a few weeks now and it rocks! Living in the deep south, it can get pretty hot and humid. This helmet keeps my head cool while looking cool and staying safe. I measured my head right in the middle of the medium sizing chart, and the helmet fits me great. I have no idea it is there. Also, sunglasses slide right on without touching the sides of the helmet.
