Burton Men's Sherlock Snowboard - SECOND QUALITY

  • SECOND QUALITY: These items were manufactured PRE-PRODUCTION by Burton. They are new in bag, but they may have minor differences in colors, graphics, and materials from the current production models. They are now being offered to you at a discount. Score!
  • Feel Rating (on a scale of 1-10, 1 being softer and 10 being responsive): 5
  • Gondola Package: Setting the benchmark with boards that are lighter, faster, and stronger for more air, quicker turns, and more fun no matter what the terrain or conditions.
  • The Channel: The Channel offers the quickest, easiest way to mount your bindings with the most stance options possible. Take control of your stance and your board like never before, micro-adjust your width and angles with ALL major binding formats including EST®, Re:Flex™, and Disc. M6 hardware means compatibility with all major binding companies, making it a choice for any rider.
  • Flying V: A Springloaded blend of camber and rocker performance, Flying V™ offers the best of both worlds. Rocker overall, including between and outside your feet, enhances playfulness and float through pow. Underneath your feet, subtle camber zones focus edge-control for crisp snap, added pop, and power through turns.
  • Twin-Like Shape: Get the freestyle feel of a twin shape with subtle tweaks that improve float and control, including slight directional shaping, a slightly set-back stance, and a stiffer tail flex.
  • Directional Flex: This versatile flex features increased pop in the tail and a more resilient nose that allows riders to easily maintain control and flow through all terrain and conditions.
  • Super Fly II™ Core: Stronger and lighter woods target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength, and reduced weight. Further optimized for float in our freeride focused boards, and strength in our park-focused boards.
  • Dualzone™ EGD™: The wood grain is positioned along the toe and heel edges on two continuous zones, perpendicular to the rest of the wood core, for consistent edge-hold and added strength.
  • Triax™ Fiberglass: Versatile flex and response for everything from mini to mega shred.
  • Carbon I-Beam™: This ultra-light carbon backbone increases pop and longitudinal snap.
  • Sintered Base: Durable and highly porous, get added durability and superior wax absorption for greater overall glide.
  • 10:45™ Sidewalls: Aggressive rippers take note. 10:45's extra-meaty, dual angle geometry results in bomber impact absorption.
  • Squeezebox: Improves performance through the balance of thicker, more powerful core sections with thinner, more flexible sections. Rider energy is transferred outward from where it originates beneath the feet, energizing the tip and tail while making the board more stable and easily manipulated.
  • Side Effects: Lengthening the surface area at the tip and tail contact points improves edge-hold and allows the board to plane easier in powder. Enjoy a livelier feel and enhanced grip on groomers along with added float for overhead days.
  • Smooth Ride™: Internal dampening lets you ride faster through rough terrain with more control and less impact on your body. The negative vibrations and shock are cushioned by the board before making it to your body.
  • Frostbite Edges: Edges beneath your bindings extend out slightly for tremendous edge-hold on hard, icy conditions. Powerful when you need them, playful when you don't, Frostbite Edges are hungry for hard-pack while remaining ever forgiving in softer conditions.
  • Pro-Tip™: A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
  • Infinite Ride™: This Burton-exclusive technology allows us to maximize pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Springloaded, Rocker, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season.
  • Wide: Select boards offer versions of their signature rides in wider platforms that are redesigned from the ground up with the larger-footed rider in mind.
  • Diecut Base Color Combinations May Vary

Amazing board for an amazing price
I have to say I love this board! It's sexy and the price is just right! I love how much playfulness I can get out of it compared to my Omatic camber board. The only second quality "problem" with my board was that one edge of the mountain next to the "Sherlock" text was slightly smudged. Who cares? It's going to be covered in snow anyway when I'm shredding down the slopes! Highly recommended for anyone who has moved past their beginner board!

Good quiver of one
This board is great if you can only have one stick. Solid in powder, groomers and messing around at resorts. Easy to ride switch. Has some pop with the Flying V but not super poppy like camber. If you need a good powder board but like to ride switch and do some park stuff at resorts this is a good all around board.
