Very durable
The canvas shirt with flannel lining is a very durable product. It is just heavy enough to keep you warm, but not too heavy that you sweat. The stitching is strong and will hold up through lots of wear and tear. The snap buttons have never popped off or bent. It's easy to wash and will not shrink. Very good product. Worth every cent.

Not Just a Shirt & Not Just a Jacket
It's a SHIRT JACKET! It says so in the description. SO, if you purchase this item, then you should do so in anticipation that you will be getting a hybrid of these two garment types. The shirt qualities come in the form of insulating capacity and style. The jacket qualities relate only to the fit. Don't buy this Carhartt product for use as your cold weather jacket, they make lots of other great jackets in all weights for that purpose. Instead, buy it as a good mid-weight layering piece. It is sized large enough to fit over one or two other base layers in a pinch, but also makes a great shirt to wear with one base layer (which is why I purchased it#. I always have at least a dozen different Carhartt pieces in my wardrobe. The quality and form factor is always consistently good and this shirt has met my expectations. I bought the black color and it is matched with a great looking flannel interior. The antiqued snaps / rivets give the shirt a great look and will add durability over the years. This shirt should just get better and better with each wash cycle. My only beef is that the shirt tails are way too long. I thought I may have mistakenly ordered a tall size, but no, I have a regular size. The tail length extends below mid-thigh (kind of weird). I usually wear a size large shirt and ordered accordingly. The sizing is roomy and I could probably wear a light sweatshirt as a base layer with this shirt. The sleeve length is just a bit on the long side, but tolerable as a shirt. With a single average weight base layer the fit for me will be good. A bit large, but not enough to make me return it for a medium. If you like Carhartt quality, then you won't be disappointed with this Shirt jacket. Just expect your regular size to come with a bit of additional room.

A Must Own
This is a Carhartt essential for anyone who recognizes the quality, durability, and function of this brand. This shirt jacket is rugged yet refined and wears for almost any occasion. Heavy enough to block the chill of late fall and early spring, yet light and comfortable enough to wear inside and out. This is a great buy!
