Carhartt Men's Sandstone Santa Fe Jacket - Quilted Flannel Lined

Better than expected.
I purchased this jacket to replace a lighter jacket that really wasn't keeping me warm in the cold weather we've been having in the mid-Atlantic region lately. I was a little worried about the utilitarian nature of Carhartt products but after wearing this jacket for a month I can honestly say it is one of the best purchasing decisions I've made. This jacket has excellent insulation, appears very well made, is very rugged and it looks good as well (and has a decent color selection). I thought I would only be wearing it for work situations but I find myself wearing it all of the time. The regular fit is perfect for me (tall and thin) - the only negative comment I have is it can be a little stiff but this is typical of Carhartt and is a reflection of their rugged construction ( I imagine it will loosen up over time). I suspect this jacket will last a very long time. I highly recommend it and feel this is a great value.

Best Quality for Great Price
The name on this coat sells itself- but this was by far the best price for this coat I have ever found. Living in Michigan need warm and this coat does it without being to heavy and bulky.

Solid work jacket
A very tough, but stiff jacket. Warmer and a little more snug than expected. I wish the entire coat were a little fuller. Even the sleeves fit close. I tried a larger size in a store and found the sleeves way too long for me, so sizing up isn't the answer. Nonetheless, it's a good quality jacket for the price and should hold up well.
