warm and dry
With the winter we are having this year these boots have really been put to the test. There has been over 60 inches of snow, rivers of water in the streets and very cold conditions. The Columbia Bugaboot XTM Omni-Tech has withstood it all. These boots are exceptionally warm and comfortable. They have kept me dry in puddles up to my ankles and they have great traction. This boot is also true to size so you don't have to order a couple of different sizes just to see which one fits. This boot also has an internal lining and footbed cover with AgION which helps prevent odor when your feet may get too hot and sweaty. This may not happen because the Thinsulate is a breathable material but just in case it's nice to have. I would recommend this boot to anyone looking for an ideal winter/snow boot.

Excellant purschase
The boots are very confortable and able to worn for long streches of time immediately. The boot is very warm. It is waterproof. The best thing aboout this boot are the lacing tabs. They are not made of metal and when you place your laces in them, they lock into place so you do have to keep pulling them tight when you go to the the next lace tab on the other side of the boot. Moreover, the top lace tap is a definite postive lock that holds the laces so you tie them without slippage. The treads grabs the snow very well and traction is not a problem. Great value for the money.

Great Boot for New England Weather
I originally purchased these boots to be used for snowshoeing.... but our winter has been so bad (much snow) that I've been wearing these boots out to shovel and occasionally on my hike to work. These boots are very warm and totally waterproof. No issues at all. The size seems to run average and seem to be very durable, but not too heavy either. The cost is a bit high but Altrec was the cheapest I could find. Sometimes you have to pay a little more for quality. All and all, I totally recommend the boot. And they are great for the snowshoeing hikes too!
