Excellent Sport Shoe for Biking
I use the Columbia Descender as a bicycling shoe for mountain biking/trail riding and couldn't be happier. I don't use pedal clips so the shoe is perfect for my purposes. It is light weight, well ventilated, has excellent traction and grip, and best of all, it is super comfortable. When I first tried them on however out of the box, they felt a little on the narrow side. That said, after I walked around in them for only a short time, they felt great amd now it feels like I'm not wearing anything on my feet. I highly recommend the Columbia Descender to anyone looking for a light weight and super comfortable sport shoe. Can't wait to try them for some rock scrambling.

Great shoes!
These are very comfortable and light weight not to mention look really cool! I wear a size 12 in most shoes and a 12 in these fit perfect. I took a chance on these and now they are my favorite shoe!

Funky Comfort
Amusingly designed and colored but comfortable on the trail. The quail don't seem to mind, nor do the turkey vultures sniggling in the distance. A little more vertical room should be built in but walking does tend to stretch the soft structure. All in all a good trail runner, climber.
