I bought this product a year ago and have been satisfied with this product. Design: I really liked the design of the product, especially the stand-up collar - as is portrayed in many pictures. However, in reality the collar doesn't stand up well and is intended to be used as standard/fold-down collar. Quality: Overall quality is great. The only downside I've noticed is that the fabric near elbows has worn-out even though I haven't used it much. I'm not sure if this is common with other brand-name fleece as well - so it could be an issue or not. I would also agree with other reviewers that its not good for wind protection. Its best-use is as a layer or in chilly (but non-windy) weather. Size: Many reviewers had me scared regarding the size - saying it runs short. So I went ahead and ordered Medium, but that turned out to be big for me. I would say if you like "columbia authentic" fit, then order standard size, if you want a bit loose or will be wearing it over a shirt, then go with one size-up.

Best Fleece on a budget!
I gotta say this fleece was everything I thought it would be and more! I went on an overnight backpacking trip into Angeles National Forest recently and this fleece was exactly what I needed. It kept me warm and even though its as half zip it didn't really get too hot or get in the way of my fire wood chopping duties. The one caviat I have with it is that the wind really creeps though it but I guess that's what a windbreaker is for. If I had to pay $30 bucks more on this same fleece pullover to make it windproof i'd totally do it, that's how much I like it.

was a closout price for a very good sweater,must have been the color,but it is a tighter fit than most but still able to get a thin base layer under ,very good quality and very satisfied overall
