Columbia Men's PFG Blood and Guts Lightweight Long Sleeve Shirt

With a name like the Men's Columbia PFG Omni-Shade Blood and Guts Superlight Long Sleeve Shirt you might expect this shirt to come with its own pocket Rambo to do your bidding, but you'd be wrong. Let's dissect the name and figure it out. The PFG stand for Performance Fishing Gear, that was simple. The Omni-Shade refers to the shirt's UPF 50 sun protection, vitally important on those long days spent bonefishing in the Bahamas. Blood and Guts is their name for an advanced stain resistance built into the shirt so you don't come back looking like one of your fish, and well, Superlight Long Sleeve because it's a long sleeve made with ultralight polyester. There you have it. And the two front chest pockets are sized for fly boxes, the sleeves roll up and stay with button tabs, and the upper back is vented. Cast away, with the relaxed fit of the PFG Omni-Shade Blood and Gut Superlight Long Sleeve Shirt for men from Columbia.

Great Shirt
I purchased this shirt for my fiance and he loves it...asked me to get him some more!!! So I've ordered more. The shirts keep him cool in this Texas heat!!!

Excellent Shirt
Bought just one white shirt to see if was really worth the cost. I use it for motorcycle riding, fishing, sailing, kayaking, and everyday wear in Alabama summer time temperatures. It is not exactly like wearing a "cool breeze" but it truly is the coolest, most comfortable shirt I own. No contact with blood and guts yet. However, body oils and grime around the collar and cuffs wash right off without special cleansers and that is good news. The SPF50 rating appears to work in the Alabama sun. Although not what I expected, the shirt material is not at all uncomfortable when the wearer is perspiring and the material appears to facilitate evaporation which keeps you as cool and dry as possible. When I can locate the right colors I plan to buy two more. Great product.
