Awesome Deal
First, I want to start off with how professional and accommodating the people are at Altrec. I had placed an order for a jacket that didn't turn out to be what I wanted, immediately they sent me a return slip and helped me find another item. That other item was the Columbia Rail Jam Parka. The jacket lives up to all its stats. It is warm, waterproof, and comfortable. This was a great deal. The color was right on to the description. Love this Jacket
I bought the Columbia Men's Rail Jam Parka for my husband for Christmas. Since it's been so cold and he needed a good looking jacket he's been wearing it already. It's comfortable, warm, versatile and looks good.

Warm and versatile, kind of plain looking
It's a tidy 3-in-1 jacket with kind of confused styling. It's not flashy enough for skiing/outdoors, and it's not simple enough for a city-work jacket. Columbia's fit is nice and trim, pockets are convenient (tho the seams on the hand pockets have a reverse overlap that cut into your hand as you try to reach in) The big metal rings around the snaps are an odd touch. Plus the weave of the nylon fabric seems to pick up a lot of lint and hair.
