The adjust ability and spring loaded features are nice. The shock absorption is a good feature for harder ground or packed trails. On thing that I can say is from time to time the locking mechanism does get stuck and I have to get them home to break it free. Overall a good pole for the price point.

I have only used the poles a couple of times. So far, they seem sturdy. It did take me a while to figure out how to adjust the poles since it did not come with instructions. I will be hiking several Catskill 3500 peaks in the next few weeks and will be better able to review this product.
