Warm, dry and well worth it.
These mittens rock, with or withourt the liner. They are warm and keep you dry and are easy toet on and off.

AWESOME GLOVE
Purchased Scout Glove for a ski trip to VT. Kept my hands warm and dry the entire time. The ability to remove the thick outer shell for tasks which require a little more dexterity without having your hands freeze off is a great idea.
