I always thought that lights were cheesy, but....
With this hooked onto the back of my gear pack under my saddle, I can honestly say that I didn't even notice it. The light is about the same size of the reflective strip on the bag. Funny how much it gave my husband some piece of mind. I bought Deuter back packs to use on our honeymoon years ago, and I've always appreciated their quality and function. Tops! Now if I could just get my husband to join me on the rides....
