Evolv Evo Rock Climbing Shoes

Inspired by Team EVOLV design feedback and TRAX Rubber Co. technology, the Evolv Evo Climbing Shoe is a new all-around, super versatile performance shoe. With a comfortable and anatomical fit, the Evo can be used as an all-around long route shoe when sized comfortably, or if sized tightly they can serve as a performance shoe. The Evo is equipped with highly functional features like the perforated, pliable toe rand rubber that delivers a sticky toe hooking surface or crack climbing help, and technical heel hooking ridges. The molded TRAX XF-3 outsole was engineered to have variable thickness gradients of the sole to conform to the foot and provide perfect anatomical support and stiffness and sensitivity where needed. The molded sole of the Evo Climbing Shoe is thinner in the arch section for better arch fit and ridged and thicker in the heel section for mild cushioning and the semi-stiff half-length midsole underneath enhances edging power.

  • PROFILE: asymmetrical toe profile (KA-1 last)
  • SOLE: 4.2 mm TRAX® XF-3 high friction rubber outsole with thickness gradients
  • RAND: 2.2mm TRAX® duro-rand
  • UPPER: Non-stretch Synthratek synthetic upper
  • LINING: Microfiber lining
  • MIDSOLE: MX-1 1.5mm semi-stiff half-length midsole

Reviews - Evolv Evo Rock Climbing Shoes

great all around shoe
my review should be taken with a grain of salt as this is my first pair of rock shoes. maybe 1/4 of a size stretch after a few hours of use. As for size... wearing a 10.5 with tight fit, and a bit of jamming of toes, but not painfully. i normally wear 44 1/2 la sportiva baturas, and asolos, and 10- 10 1/2 street shoes. size 10 killed my toes. not sure on the stink situation that is mentioned a lot with synthetic shoes .. will have to wait a bit longer i suppose. soles are nice and grippy, fairly stiff. straps work great. bottom line so far so good! buy your normal street shoe size in my opinion.
