Good shoe
I bought this shoe for my husband, unfortunately they were a half size too small. He has narrow feet and is able to tighten these much better than any velcro shoes he has tried in the past. With a bigger size, I'm sure they will be more comfortable for bouldering as well.

A very sensitive shoe
The K2 Lace is a very soft shoe. I used mine on a technical granite slab and I could feel every detail in the rock. This sensitivity made me more confident on the technical smears. The laces of the K2 allow for a more customized fit (lace tight for edging and more loose for smearing). Because of its sensitivity and lighter weight, this shoe could also excel on steeper sport climbs. The thin toe box makes this shoe perfect for thin cracks. All in all, if you like soft shoes, then the K2 is a very versatile choice.

Lace for Life!
I prefer this shoe over the velcro Kaos. The lacing system allows you to tighten the shoe all the way down to your big toe, which eliminates a lot of the flexing and bending I experienced with the velcro. Great shoe for all around sport and bouldering. The flat last makes it more comfortable for long pitches.
