Exped DownMat 9 Pump Sleeping Pad
So much warmth and comfort, you will never have to sleep cold again with the Exped DownMat 9 Pump Sleeping Pad. This super comfortable sleeping pad is 2 cm thicker than the DownMat 7 and is temperature rated to -36 F. The built-in pump allows for easy inflation after you arrive in camp. The DownMat 9 is built with 700 fill down insulation inside to create an extremely insulative backcountry pad. Very compressible and lightweight, the DownMat packs super small in comparison to other insulated mats and reduces the bulk you would expect with some much warmth. With the DownMat 9 you can carry a lighter sleeping bag, reducing bulk and weight, while experiencing the same level of warmth.
- European Outdoor Award, Product of the Year
- Built-in pump system eliminates the need for oral inflation and reduces moisture inside the pad
- Similar to a sleeping bag, baffles between the mats' chambers eliminate cold spots and promote a stable and supportive air cushion
- Light foam blocks at the mat‘s ends prevent down from escaping or migrating between chambers
- Laminated polyester fabric is both durable and airtight
- Top surface of honeycomb textured fabric provides superior slip resistance and comfort next to the skin
- Seams and valves are all high-frequency welded (most secure method of fusing fabrics and materials) to ensure mat integrity
- Dark colors dry quickly
- Two loops at head end can be used to secure the packsack to the mat when used as a pillow
- Use a lighter weight sleeping bag with a DownMat to achieve consistent overall comfort, and still reduce weight and bulk
- Exped only uses IDFL-certified goose down, specially treated to eliminate the effects of humidity that may reach the mat‘s interior

Saaaaaa-weeeet
These pads have to be the greatest pad I have ever slept on. I was a little leery about the hand pump on the pad, but it works incredibly well. I couldn't blow up a 2.5" pad any faster than I can do this 3+". And the comfort is next to none. Haven't used it for snow camping yet, but will hopefully soon.

Excellent product I would buy it again.
They really should have called it the "Inflates easy rolls up small and keeps you warm mat", but I guess that's kinda long.

Best Around
This mattress is one of my best items I have purchased recently and carry in my pack. It has comfort beyond compare. No more sore hips or shoulders in the morning. To me my rest is important on these outings. I sleep without the tossing and turning trying to get comfortable like I have in the past on other products. The cost is well worth the trade off of having sound sleep. It is also light and I really like the way it packs down and stores. My opinion: If you have the money buy it!
