love em
i love these shoes! was looking to replace my old 5.10 ascents and went with these....they are perfect for all-day climbing, but also have good edging and a pretty aggressive toe. highly recommended!

Great Shoe
Fit: Size down by 1/2 size US shoe Size Purpose: Trad, gym, sport (but nothing too crazy) Why I Bought these: I was looking for a shoe to complement my 5.10 Anasasi shoes but would not kill my feet on multi pitch climbs. I thought these might be a little too cushy, but they fit and feel great. I have used them all the way up to 5.10c climbs and have not had any issues. The sole is much stiffer than the Anasasi shoes, but does not feel like a board. They edge and smear good. I would recommend these to anyone that is looking for comfortable moderate performance shoe. Quality: Like most 5.10 shoes they are built to last. Pros: Quality, comfort with minimal performance sacrifice. Cons: the velcro straps are a bit long and the red leather leaves some marks on your feet.

Comfortable sport/trad shoe
I alternate between the VMile and the Anasazi Verde shoes, depending on how long I plan to be out. The Anasazi's are great for bouldering and climbing where you use the form-fitting heel a lot. However that feature tends to push your foot forward into the toe, and I found myself constantly adjusting. With the VMiles, the heel has a less "springy" fit, so I can wear them much longer. The Velcro straps are quite long, I had to cut them down since I don't have a huge foot volume. The soles are a bit more cushioned than most other shoes, and the Stealth Onyx works great on both gym walls and rock faces.
