Good backpack
This will be plenty big for you--possible too big. It has an amazing system of "cinching" straps to tighten up slack all around, so if you only pack it halfway, you can really streamline the pack.

Well Balanced Pack
I took the woman's Jade 50 on two separate week long backpack trips on the east side of the sierra last fall. I'm 5'6" and the medium fit me well. Each trip I carried between 25-30 lbs comfortably over high elevation passes. The pack was easy to adjust and stayed well balanced on my hips and shoulders. The fabric is lightweight and much more delicate then my old pack. The fabric was abraded in places by the end of the trip. At this point in my life I'm fine with trading in a little durability for a lighter load up the hill. I do wish Gregory made more subtle earth tone colored packs. Overall I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
