What you paying that you getting. It's nice paddle, very light and durable. Weight is very minimal. When you paddling it gives good grip with water. I have cheaper one it's like day and night:). Biggest disadvantage is $$$$.

Great paddle, great service!
Service from Altrec was A+. I spoke to Scott and he was a pleasure to deal with. Paddle came quickly and was well packaged. As far as the paddle-it is a very aggressive paddle with quick acceleration. Seems very well built and so far has stood up well, but only the test of time will truly tell its reliability. Seems very stiff, and is light enough for most purposes. Was GREAT in the ocean.
