I purchased the Marcy capri in two sizes, jet #511507 sz 6 & the purplish color #511509 sz 4, thinking I would return the capri that was too small. The jet sz 6 fit is actually a tad smaller? than the size 4. The 4 is perfect! Yet, I usually wear about a 6. Mis labeled?? I am 5'2" and 123 lbs. These pants are very well made and the detailing is amazing. There are adjustable elastic and buttons on the back inside waistband above the back pockets that one could use to tighten the waistband if needed. You can wear these right out of the dryer and they look very nice. No ironing needed. The two back pockets have YKK coiled zippers with pulls & there is a YKK zipper with a pull on the left thigh side of the pant leg as well. I really love wearing these capris & I am keeping both pairs!
Love, love, love
My search for the perfect pair of hiking capris is now over. The Isis Marcy Capri is it, hands down. So many of the pants I've tried over the years are either ill-fitting, unflattering or made from a less than ideal fabric (or all of the above). The Marcy capri is figure flattering, an ideal weight, and oh-so-comfortable. I wore them recently on a hiking trip to Utah and just fell in love. They breathe nicely, don't ride up, and stay nice and fresh looking and smelling. They look good on the trail and at dinner afterwards. They also air dry quickly, which is nice if you're doing laundry on the fly. The pockets, inner wasteband fabric detail and mesh pockets are all nice touches. Did I mention how comfy they are? I have them in both Sahara and Jet, which are good, neutral colors. I'm 5'4 and 122 pounds. I bought them in a size 6. I have muscular thighs and a bit of a butt, and they fit comfortably loose without being baggy. I could probably get by with a 4, but I don't like to feel constricted in hiking pants. If you have a muscular build, I think you'll like these.
I bought these pants after having worn similar ISIS shorts which I love. I cannot say enough good things: fit great, nice quality stretchy fabric, and nice details pockets etc. Worth every penny!
