Kamik Alborg Snow Boot
l I am very pleased with my purchase of the Kamik Alborg Snow Boot. I previously had purchaed a size 11 from another site. I am a male of 6'1" in height & weigh about 165 lbs. The size 11 I recieved was to snug. I liked the gaurantee that Altrec.com offers so I made my final purchase of a size 12 with Altrec. A little big,but nothing the right sock could not fix. They are advertised on the Kamik site as being made in Canada & the USA. However they are actually made in India. They are certified as being waterproof with taped seams on the inside of the boot to complete the waterproof process. However they actually brush on a substance on the seam instead. On the size 11's I initially purchased the seam where the leather upper & the rubber lower overlapped was not very "tight". This was not the case with the size 12's. A quick examination is all that is needed. The boots are very comfortable. With the warm weather in the North East currently I have not had the opportunity to see how warm they can keep my feet. I am not concerned, due to Kamik's reputation and the fact that Altrec.com stands behind all the products they sell!
