Keen Men's Voyageur Hiking Shoe

Oriented toward dry weather in warm conditions, Keen's low-slung Voyageur Hiking Shoe for men is vented outdoor footwear made for light day hikes, family camping trips and fly-fishing excursions that require a little hiking to reach the best bends in the river. While some mesh-lined shoes sacrifice outdoor functionality for discount prices, Keen's lightweight Voyageur Hiking Shoe offers a rugged, non-marking rubber outsole and a wicking interior lining. Like most Keen shoes and boots, the Voyageur Hiking Shoe features Keen's patented toe protection to help shield your toes from rocks, tree roots and other unseen or unanticipated trail obstructions. One important note that Keen wanted us to pass along: Most Voyageur Hiking Shoes for men run about a 1/2-size small in sizes, so adjust accordingly before placing your order.

  • Upper: Durable leather with webbing and breathable mesh
  • Lining: Moisture wicking textile
  • Dual-density compression molded EVA midsole
  • Keen patented toe protection
  • Replaceable dual-density metatomical EVA footbed

Has held up well!
Admit that I am a KEEN fanatic. The Voyageur has held up now hiking in CA, Northern MI and Colorado. Probably should have gone with the mid-height for some of the terrain to get more support. That's the problem with KEENs, they are so comfortable that you tend to take them beyond their limits. This shoe is designed for warm dry areas and breathes well. I do not wear them if it is wet and would recommend a WP KEEN shoe or boot.

So long Merrell, hello KEEN!
I just purchase these Keen Voyageur Hiking Shoes to replace my Merrell's! My Merrell's were brand new out of the box, I had been saving them till another pair of hiker's were ready for the trash bin. I was hiking with my girlfriend, who previously managed a Sporting Goods franchise, when she noticed how bad my ankles were pronating, and I was wondering why my feet were hurting. When we stopped to look at the problem we found these Merrell's had rounded heels that were built with a slight pronation already, needless to say they are back in the box and I will try to return them. I never heard of Keen before and mainly picked these hikers due to their design features with a large stable heel and the toe protector design since foot stability and toe protection is something I require for my hiking and walking needs. I am very pleased with these hikers right of the box with quality and design. You know you have a quality product when it is in your hands and these shoes have that quality. I wear a pretty standard size 9 and these shoes fit superbly! Very stable design and I love the rock kicking toe guards that seems to be the Keen trademark. Comfortable on the feet and arches, in fact I don't feel like I need to install my orthotics in them the insoles feel that great. What do I think after using them? Well I just purchased a pair of Keen Sandals and Trail Running shoes, that's how keen I feel!
