Cool for School!
I got this shoe for my kindergartener to wear to school. He loves, loves, LOVES his Keen Newport H2s, and so I am gradually converting his shoes over to the Keen brand. Actually, I'm doing the same for myself! I really like the bungee cord and toggle feature of the shoe for easy adjustment. The color is beautiful (the brown with orange/rust color) and so much nicer than a white or black tennis shoe. They really dress up his outfit, and I prefer this more put-together look than the casual look of a tennis shoe. My one concern is that my son seems to cinch these as tight as they can go, which makes the bungee cord look really long and sort of odd. He has a narrow foot and Keen typically makes footwear on the wide side, so this is the likely reason he has to wear them this way. But he tells me, "I feel so fast in them I can hardly stand it! And I feel good in them." There you have it. From the kindergartener himself.
