Keen Women's Blackcomb Hiking Boot

first time out 8 miles
I put these boots on the first time for an 8 mile backpacking trip. They were really comfortable. It was wet and my feet did get wet. The brush was wet and the water ran down my legs, so any boot would get wet. My feet were not sore at the end of my hike.

Good for everyday walking too
I bought these boots for my 60+ year old mother-in-law who walks 6 miles a day on flat suburban streets. I settled for these after not being able to find her a pair of Growlers, which I have had and loved for 2 years of snow sports. She is not a hiker but wears out most shoes pretty quickly. These were comfortable and light and she said they were great right out of the box for winter walking in upstate NY. I ordered a size up.

Where have these been all my life!
These boots are great! I bought them to snow shoe in and the first thing I noticed is how light weight they are! I went from Columbia Bugaboos to these, and what a difference. These are warmer and move so much easier with the motion of my foot.
