The best fit with the right weight
I have researched several comparison jackets. I have found the Oracle to have the best true fit for me among the others. I also found the weight to be just right for fall hikes in cold rain.

Very pleased.
I haven't worn this in a sustained hard rain, or with a pack, so I've only given it an average for water repellency, but I suspect its a solid 4. It has worked perfectly in its lesser challenges so far. I haven't had it long enough to speak to durability. Aesthetically I like it alot except for the light colored liner - I got black and it contrasts too much to my eye (though I'm getting over it). Well designed and tailored. The large fits quite loosely for me (6' 172lb), though I consider that a good thing as I can wear it over a fleece. Decent ventilation. *Has pit zips* Do yourself a favor and don't buy a raincoat without pit zips. As I said, very pleased.

This coat is well made and appears to be quite durable. It is extremely packable and takes little space in the backpack. I got the black colored one that looks nice for everyday wear.
