Reviews - Marmot Men's Vertical Jacket-92119
Just a quick FYI
In case anyone is comparing this to the Marmot Gravity. Aside from having more features, a ton more actually, the Vertical fits roomier. At 6'3" 225, the XL in the Gravity was tight around the waist when zipped up. It was snug throughout even with just a mid layer underneath. The Vertical has a more forgiving fit while still not being boxy like some of the hard shells. I literally just got it today and haven't worn it outside yet but wanted to pass the fitment info on.
Extremely happy with this jacket
When I got this jacket I was really impressed with how Many different features that are on it. It fits well and I am pleased with the quality of it. I bought this mainly for cold days riding my bike and it really does block the wind well and the rain proof is awesome.
Good value for money
The sleeves are incredibly long, but you can use the velcro at the end to keep sleeves out of the way. I bought a size M, I'm 5'9 and I think I have an extra 3"" of sleeve. Better to have too much than too little. For a "softshell" jacket it's a little on the hard side, but it probably has better water protection than some others. Overall, I'd say this jacket is all I need in times where I used to wear two jackets--hard shell outside and fleece underneath.
