Very warm michelin man
Purchased Marmot's Whitehorse Parka and north face mcmurdo at same time. Marmot was by far the one I kept. Very comfy fabric not stiff like NF. Has been best jacket for freezing dog walking and snow blowing. Yes it does have michelin man appearance but warmth for weight can not be beat. Someone mention low pockets and will agree but always wearing gloves with this jacket anyways so no biggie to me.

Altrec delivered this product quickly and it was a great parka
I've bought a number of Marmot products. They are true to size and are quality made. This Whitehorse Parka is the one to buy if you want excellent protection against the harshest that winter can dish out. It is waterproof and windproof. I will definitely keep you warm in a storm I would recommend both Marmot and Altrec
