An Ortholite insole can be removed to accommodate custom orthotics or replaced with a softer insert after it wears out while the long-lasting EVA midsole cushions and supports your foot throughout the life of the boot. These trail shoes provide arch support, heel cushion and stability while maintaining flexibility to let your foot move naturally. Nice shoes
The boots are sturdy and comfortable. I go to hiking frequently and these boots did not make my feet tired so far. I am in California and now it is winter. I am not sure if my feet are going to sweat or not in California summer in these boots. We will see.

Premium Boots
Fantastic pair of boots!! The Gore-tex is unbelievable, you can walk through puddles of water up past your ankle without even thinking about it. Highly durable material is great for the more rugged terrain. Very comfortable even on the first use, no problems at all, not even blisters on my heels, it was awesome. Most people say you have to order a half size up for hiking socks but that wasn't necessary for me. The arch support is really great as well, considering I have flat feet I thought I would need to use my own orthopedic insert, but again the comfort level was incredible! Highly recommend even for daily use. The outsole on this shoe will never allow you to slip. Truly unbelievable!

Excellent hiking boot
First, awesome price for a Gore-tex boot with a grippy Vibram sole. Boots are very durable yet lightweight so they won't slow you down. Give great support and extremely comfortable from day one.
