Reviews - Merrell Shoes Men's Phaser Peak Waterproof Hiking Boots
I bought my phaser's as I wanted to do more serious hiking and they were highly recommended by a friend and also online. All I can say is nuff said!! Very comfortable, light, great grip and to top it off waterproof. Ran through countless stream with no problems....nothing worse than wet feet. I am 5'9" 185lbs and have used many different hiking boots in the past but I will stick with Merrell's going forward...not sure why it took me so long to try but now that I have, I will be a repeat customer.
My Favorite Boots Ever
So I know this is out of the ordinary, but as a woman, I have some very wide feet. I find women's hiking boots are always too narrow for my feet. SO I went with a men's boot instead. These boots are not to heavy and very durable. I live in CO so I hike in all conditions and these are the best boots I have ever owned. Definitely worth the money as they will last for a very long time. Super comfy with thick or thin socks. I suggest taller socks until you break them in.
