Does the trick
Among rope bags, the Metolius Rope Ranger is the undisputed leader. The "tarp pocket" keeps my rope clean, and with the ample tarp space (4 x 5 feet), I can lay out my gear while my rope stays debris free. Its almost 1400 cubic inch capacity permits me to carry, in addition to my 60 meter rope, my draws, biners, ATC, and chalk bag. And, the padded backpack-style shoulder straps allow for a comfortable carry in to the crag. Durable, easy to pack, unpack, tote, and store, the Rope Ranger has never let me down.

Nice bag for half ropes!
Bought this bag to use for my two 8.2mm x70m ropes. They fit nicly and the tarp provides a nice area to flake them out. Love the fact that you can view what's in the bag from the small window. my only issue is how it closes, but that's my own pet peeve, and can happily live with it. I would recommend this to a friend.
