best out there
I've tried many balaclava, but this one has to be the best. The ones from Seirus were terrible because of it wouldn't stretch to fit. The Gorilla from Outdoor Research seemed great at first, but it had some serious design flaws. It looks lopsided once on my face due to its design, and the velcro enclosure did not stay flush to the face. There was some quality issue as the stitching on the velcro got undone the very first time i put it on. And the venting system designed to allow me to breath caused serious wind burns on my lips. This one from Mountain Hardwear did not suffer from these problems. It stayed comfortable, and kept my face warm. The only drawback is that the mask gets wet around your mouth, and this causes discomfort especially when boarding in very cold weather. But compared to what's out there, I'd say that this is the one I'd recommend.

Best Balaclava For Snowsports
Anyone who has worn a face mask or balaclava in conjunction with goggles knows that condensation build up on the mouthpiece and fogging up you goggles is the biggest problem. The material this is made of allows you to breathe as if nothing is covering your mouth, no holes to allow wind in either just high quality breathable material. It is also extremely warm in 10 degree weather with 20mph wind gusts. Putting this on and covering your head with a nice beanie is all the warmth you will need for your face. A little more costly than most balaclavas but when you put it on you know where your money went.
