Good ski pants
I have always liked bib style ski pants, and I was looking for something in the softshell material. ( More like the older traditional ski pants) Saw a Mountain hardware Conduit Jacket and liked the feel of the material and read the many good reviews. So I ordered these ski pants. I have used them now several times and like them very much. The material seems very water resistant and breathable. ( I won't call them water proof until I have used them in much weter conditions. But I have Goretex for those conditions) They have stood up to 3 hours + in wet heavy snow fall and my legs and seat stayed dry. It' has not been to cold when I have used them. 25 degrees has been about the coldest and they where warm enough to use with out long underwear. On warmer days this spring the zippers in the leg are great for cooling and venting your legs. ( They also have worked well for snowshoing with this feature.) Good construction and details with the gaiters in the pants and zippers. Chest pocket is nice and handy and good to use for small items when skiing.

Don't fit right.
For over three years I'm enjoying of using regular MH Synchro pants and was hoping to have similar bibs. But I was very disappointed with these bibs. The lower part is cut too wide (like for 70's disco) and gaiters are just adding bulk and weight. At the same time the upper part around waist and chest is very tight and will prevent air circulation in this area which will cause excessive sweating. It even restricts your breath. All of these make you awkward and uncomfortable. Just couldn't get them to fit right. I returned the item and purchased Marmot Storm King which I am absolutely happy with.
