Just cool
Excellent fit, very well constructed. If you're climbing especially alpine style, this is the right gear for you. Highly recommend.

Great balaclava; select size carefully
I agree with both of the other reviewers. It's a great piece of gear, but might fit a little more loosely than you'd expect. I used this for a 9-hour race in 20-degree temperatures, and it worked perfectly. Blocked the wind, kept me warm, and I had no trouble breathing through the nose and mouth and no chapped skin afterward. I bought this to replace a cheaper windstopper balaclava that was too difficult to breathe through. On the fit, like the first reviewer I had a pair of ski goggles on, so the fact that it was slightly loose didn't bother me, but I can see how it might have been a problem without the ski goggles. Maybe I should have measured my head before purchasing.

Great piece of gear
I've used this cycling in 20 degree + windy for over 3 hours and it did the trick. It allows unobstructed breathing (nose and mouth) and you can drink from water bottle (if it's not frozen) w/o any adjustments. Fit is important (I took a large and I'm 6'0") but there are excellent adjustments on the front. My road glasses fogged up repeatedly with this but after I substituted a pair of ski googles with surrounding air vents the fogging issue became a thing of the past. No more aching face and head going down the hills at 40 mgh!
