NRS HydroSkin Sock (Fall 07)

Works great in snow
So far I just used these once as oversocks while trudging through snow in my waterproof boots. They worked great. Kept my feet warm and dry while I sunk my boots in well past the top. When I removed my shoes they were cold and wet inside, but my feet never felt it at all. Hoping to test these out while fording some rivers soon.

Very well made sock. Perfect balance of warmth and protection but at the same time not so thick that it restricts movement and sensation. I recommended it to my fishing buddy and he loves it too. Very easy to maintain as the others have said. The only thing is they do tend to run a bit large so order one size down.

Good for canyoneering
I use these socks inside a specialized canyoneering shoe - the 5.10 canyoneer. Canyoneering involves extended wades and swims in very cold water. These socks keep my feet warm, while still allowing my feet to have feeling when climbing over rocks. The neoprene is thin so it allows my feet to move freely. Other thicker neoprene socks kept my feet warm but restricted movement and feeling. These socks are a very good product.
