Paco Pad Heaven
Pros After a life time of rafting and car camping (40 years) we have finally found a sleeping Pad that fits well with our family's life style. We have two teenage boys and as a family we range in height from 6'3 to 5'4 and up to 230 pounds. We liked the versatility of being able to add some additional air to these self inflating sleeping pads to personal preference for a good nights sleep. The Pads are very durable and firm and of high quality. The Paco Pad also worked well for us strapped on the top of the cooler in the raft as additional padding and insulation to help keep ice in the cooler longer. Cons Very firm pad. If youre a soft pillow top person this pad may not be for you. The pads are very large and so don't count on two pads fitting into a small two person tent. Check your dimensions of your tent and pad prior to purchase

bullet proof, well made, Inflates quickly.
Sleeps better with a couple of puffs of air which takes a little practice. Wonder if the Grande or the Silverback would be more comfortable because they have the soft foam. GREAT customer service at Altrec. Thanks James

pretty good
Waterproof to the max. Bullet proof I suspect, but it lost its loft pretty rapidly. The foam seems to compress and never come back to it's original thickness. Great for extended river trips where you have lots of room on a raft.
