Reviews - Outdoor Research Men's Neoplume Jacket
Warmth without weight
This is a great mid-layer under a shell for really cold days, or a perfectly suitable jacket/single layer for the winter months. Excellent pockets, great fit and the perfect amount of primaloft makes this jacket an excellent value. This one will become the work-horse jacket fairly quickly in your outdoor gear arsenal!!! Buy it.
Perfect for Cool Evenings
This is my second Neoplume jacket because I like my first one so much. Nice and light but still very warm and super comfortable. Sizing seems true, and the length of arms is nice if you have longer arms. Quality seems great too - Highly recommended.
Compares to Compressor, excellent fit
I had to return the MH Compressor I ordered for my teenaged son because it was too tight -- surprising since he is very slightly built. This jacket was a fraction of the price, with a similar style and perfect fit over a lightweight fleece or just a shirt, and under his waterproof jacket -- the all important layering needed for outdoor hiking. He took the jacket on a 3-week wilderness adventure last summer and it held up great. He wore it during this past mild winter, and then on this summer's kayaking trip in Maine. Very pleased.
