Montana all purpose glove
I was looking to replace a pair of REI soft shell gloves that I totally loved that REI no longer makes. Used as a go most places, high dexterity, and high exertion glove when not in conditions to warrant my full-on G-Tex ski gloves. I looked a lot and read a lot of reviews, looking for something that really keeps my hands warm despite their minimal build. And I am thoroughly pleased with these OR gloves. I'd have to say they even exceed my old pair. The fit is superb, dexterity amazing, and if you're even mildly active while wearing them, they keep your hands plenty warm. Don't expect them to perform like a thick glove though. That's not what they are designed for. They're quite water resistant. They'll get wet if you're really in the snow, but my hand still stays pretty warm. And on long runs or cross-country skiing they breathe well despite sweaty hands. Love the leather grip. I bought the Large I'm a lanky 6 footer with skinny hands and long fingers. They fit me perfect but if you have a thicker hand may want to go a size up. They fit pretty trim.

NIce!!!
These gloves have a lot of protection with very little bulk. We set out at a temperature of 15 degrees with wind blowing at about 25mph. I was plenty warm with these while hiking and was able to easily adjust the flick locks on the trekking poles. Next morning it was 0 degrees and these didn't provide much warmth so went with a heavier glove. All in all, this glove is very good and met all my expectations.

Really good gloves
These gloves are great when you need a bit more protection and warmth without lots of added bulk and the zipper allows for an easy on and off. All around a really great glove.
