Spandex binding on the cuffs and waist provides stretchy resilience to hold everything in place. Other details: zippered handwarmer pockets lined with moisture-wicking polyester mesh, a zip front (with a reflective zipper pull) backed by a wind flap and a hand-me-down ID label inside. My twelve year old son will wear this jacket!!
Live on the Oregon Coast with a very cool climate, rain and wind are quite common. My son is able to be active without it being cumbersome, and it will still keep him warm while being wet. He loves the style to boot as well.

Great jacket
My son just loves this jacket. It is comfortable, and it blocks the wind completely, even when riding his bike. He used it in temperatures as low as 40 F, and that was fine.
