Love these thermals!
I purchased these thermal bottoms after I got the Patagonia merino zipneck top as a gift. They are fantastic (both the top and bottoms)! Very comfortable, great fit. They keep you warm, but don't make you hot. I wear them outside and just around the house (we have our heat set very low). I can't comment on the durability because I've only had them a few weeks, but they seem very well-made and previous Patagonia gear I've had has always lasted. I also like that Patagonia takes care to minimize impact to the environment, and they have a recycling program once these do wear out (assuming they ever will!).

Fantastic for alpine sports
I purchased these Merino 3 bottoms for myself and love them. I'm a skier and they keep me warm but do not add bulk or overheat me. Loved them so much that I ordered a pair for my husband for Christmas. He's 6'1", 185 lbs., and the large was too big, so we swapped for a medium. He's a snowboarder. Awesome.

The best...
...you won't be disappointed. Warm, comfortable, wicks away moisture and definitely does not absorb odor. An amazing product. Must take care in washing it but it dries very quickly, especially in the fresh air. Got several of these for my son who works on tall ships and he was so grateful. It's freezing on the water in the Winter. Also comfortable to wear in just the cool weather. You don't overheat because the fabric breathes. Worth every single penny.
