Love it
I have been wearing Patagonia Capilene for some time. Those have begun to wear thin after many years of use and I decided to replace them with some of their wool products. I love this shirt. It is soft, does not chafe at all, and is great for heavy aerobic activity in cool to cold temperatures (if you have a lightweight jacket on over top). I imagine it will be great for multiple uses in late spring, morning and evening in summer, and early fall. My old capilene tended to smell pretty bad after one use, but I have worn this a couple of times and smells clean. One day I exercised for a good portion of the day, cooked dinner in it, and it still was odor free at end of the day. I agree that it does conduct static. Other than, great addition.

Great to a point - has its pros and cons to polyester
These are by far the most comfortable base layers in existence - nothing as soft or breathable. They do what they say in terms of temperature regulation (to a point - past 75 or 80 degrees, Wool 2 becomes too heavy), as well as with lack of odor retention. Biggest knock compared to polyester is in terms of shape retention, which is noticeable when sweating. These do wick moisture, but it weighs the fabric down, meaning the [dr-op]tail of the shirt can end up well below your rump when running or any other high-sweat activity. Other than this, nothing but praise.

Nice shirt - great cool
Really nice cool, soft and well made. It is a little thin so best for winter aerobic activities like skiing which is how I plan to use it. It still conducts static and I was bit surprised by that. Overall a good shirt
