A simple commuter pack, the Patagonia Pocket Pack doubles as an energetic day-tripper with hydration capabilities. It has a gusseted main compartment with interior divider and see-through flat mesh organizer pockets. An outside zippered pocket provides quick access to boarding pass, cell phone and other essentials. A padded drop-in pocket protects a camera or sunglasses, and stowable exterior straps hold your yoga mat or beach towel. Ultralight shoulder straps (with hidden hydration tube or headphone cord tunnels), sternum strap with safety whistle, and stowable waist belt keep your load comfortably attached. 3-D spacer-mesh on the shoulder straps and the padded back panel wick moisture, dry quickly and allow air circulation. Made with a 150-denier recycled polyester double-weave exterior and a 200-denier polyester liner; both have a polyurethane coating and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Amazing day pack!
It's deceptively small, but holds a lot more than I expect. I can (barely) fit my black Macbook, a light jacket (Pata Nano Puff), my 0.6L Sigg, and a light lunch, with some room to spare. That's impressive. I never use my full sized backpacks anymore because this small one does it all, and is so much lighter! The two straps on the front hide away into the front panel, but are useful for holding plastic bags or a large jacket. I sometimes wish it had more organizers pockets, and maybe another zippered pocket on the front- but that defeats its simplicity. Overall, get it, you'll probably love it!

In Love!
My pack is the perfect size for everyday trips to the store. I have a 3-year-old who requires two hands in public, not ideal for carrying a purse around. The only thing I'd like is one more outside pocket for something little, i.e. keys, phone, glasses.
