On a blustery backcountry summit or cool-weather trail run, this lightly insulated windshirt provides frictionless midlayer warmth during a rest stop, and breathable windblocking efficiency when in aerobic high gear. Its snow shedding and wind blocking polyester ripstop shell is insulated with a smooth, lightly brushed hanging mesh liner that wicks moisture, dries fast, and doesn't bind to your baselayers. Stretch-woven underarm panels enhance breathability and allow for exceptional mobility. Performance features include two hand pockets that close with zippers, a drawcord hem, elastic cuffs, and a regular-coil center-front zipper with easy slide DWR finish. Updated this season for an improved fit, the Alpine Wind Jacket is recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.
