Great under layer!
These are the only under layer pants that fit me--all the rest had really tight ankles and loose hips, but these are wonderful and comfortable and warm. I got three pairs! I bought them in a M and I am a pants size 6/8 or 28. I am 5'6 and they are the right length.
Like a second skin!
These keep you warm, but not too hot, and they are soft and comfy. I like the fact that they are lightweight and don't pull while you're wearing them, so they move with you. They're pretty perfect.
After buying several less expensive pairs of competitors' products, I was thrilled with the warmth and quality of these pants. I mainly use them for snowshoeing, which means I am often cold at the beginning of our hikes and hot at the end. These pants wick moisture away very well, but they keep me warm even when I'm not moving around too much. I would highly recommending spending the extra few dollars for Patagonia.
